It's that time of year again – the start of Wythenshawe's Got Talent!

And for 2011 we are building on the success of recent years to make the event a bigger and brighter spectacle for everyone taking part.

We are looking for a variety of acts and performers to take part in the auditions and show just how talented the people of Wythenshawe really are.

Wythenshawe's Got Talent 2011 is open to people of all ages who have a special gift to entertain, whether it be singing, dancing, acting, making people laugh as comedians or simply an unusual talent that makes people say 'wow'!

Applicants will audition before a panel of judges on Saturday the 10th of September before performing live in front of a sell out crowd at Wythenshawe Forum on the 12th of November.

Pop star Laura White is the variety show's ambassador and acts will be supported by professional dance and arts studio, Sunshine Dance Studios, which will be helping coach performers to improve their skills for the live event.

The deadline to enter is 19 August 2011 and to make it a truly memorable community event we would urge people to spread the word to their friends and family so as many people as possible can get involved.

As long as people live or work in areas with M22 or M23 postcodes they can enter.
